Research all the methods of plastic surgery
Not all plastic surgeons are created equal and not all plastic surgery is created equal. Sometimes celebrities do not do their homework and find a surgeon that is accredited by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. All of a sudden they show up looking worse than Michael Jackson.
Michael Jackson. When you speak his name, his ever-changing face pops into your head. Just how did he let it go this far, you think. So, he really looks terrible, but you still feel sorry for him on some deeper level. I mean, he has to live with that the rest of his life right? It just proves that plastic surgery is not something to be taken lightly. You need to seriously plan out what you would like done and research all the methods of plastic surgery that can be used to attain what you would like done.
First, you need to fully understand that plastic surgery is not just an instant fix. You will have recovery time, healing, and everything that goes along with any surgery. You will also have to do your homework and research everything that you can about the plastic surgery that you are considering. You can either research on the internet about the procedure or find a doctor to talk to about it. But, you need to learn as much as you can about the risks and perks of plastic surgery before going under the knife.
Next, you need to find the right doctor. Checking with the American Board of Plastic Surgery is a good place to start. They can point you in the right direction for a qualified surgeon in your area, or tell you if the one that you are considering is certified or not. Don't ever just take a doctor's word for it. They could just be a general surgeon and not have a certification in plastic surgery, and you could seriously pay the price for it.
Once you find a doctor, make that initial appointment and interview him or her. Write down a list of questions that you want to know and ask every one of them, and more. Do not get shy or nervous about talking to the doctor, it is your body that they will be molding or reshaping. (If you do get nervous, just pull up a mental picture of the last time that you saw Michael Jackson on TV, and I promise that you will find many more questions to ask!)
If the doctor refuses to answer questions or skirts around them, this should be a red flag to you. Make sure that you completely understand the plastic surgery that you are considering before making any commitments.
Remember to check into the hospital or doctor's office where the procedure will be performed. Check on their recovery rooms and recovery times as well. This can help you prepare for your plastic surgery. Knowing where you will be afterward will help to ease your mind going into the surgery. ...
